From Monday 7th May and for the remainder of the exam period, Supervision Rooms 1 and 2 in Harvey Court are being made available as further space for quiet study. The room will be accessible from 9am to 11pm. You'll need to collect a key from the West Road Porter's Lodge to gain access. If you choose to let other students join you for quiet study, that is up to you, but the responsibility for returning the key rests with the person drawing it.
The Cavonius Centre will normally be available during the day for quiet study, apart from a very small number of occasions when it may be in use for other academic activities. In addition, it will be possible to make use of the Cavonius Centre during the evenings for quiet study, between the hours of 6 p.m and 11 p.m., provided no other user has made a prior reservation. Evening use will still have to be booked via the Conference and Events Office. Anyone making such a reservation will be responsible for signing for, and returning the key (electronic card) fom the West Road Porter's Lodge. If you choose to let other students join you for quiet study, that is up to you, but the responsibility for returning the key rests with the person drawing it.
We will maintain these arrangements, subject to satisfactory operation, until the end of the examination period.
