The Library is open every day during term time and in vacations from 7.00am until 1 a.m.
Access to the Library is gained by personal swipe card.
The Enquiry Desk is occupied by a member of staff for substantial parts of the working day, until 5pm. The staff member is always available to be consulted in connection with the arrangement of books, use of the Library's catalogues and computer terminals, or for general and subject enquiries.
Students are entitled to borrow up to twenty books. The Library operates a self-issue service and two loan stations are available to users.

Each working space has a plug socket for the use of a portable computer. Many have live sockets for internet connection. To find out how to connect to the internet from the Library, see the Computing pages.
